CNA CE California Support
CNA CE California is an education app for California Certified Nurse Assistants, built around the topic areas CDPH lists for CNA continuing education — 30 lessons with study-time tracking, quizzes, and certificates of attendance.
Do these hours count toward my CNA renewal?
No. CNA CE California is not a CDPH-approved continuing-education provider, and no provider application is on file. The hours are Learning Hours and the certificates are samples — please do not submit them to CDPH or to an employer as renewal credit. For reference, California CNAs complete continuing education on a two-year renewal cycle with a cap on the online portion; confirm your own current requirement with CDPH or your employer.
Then what is the app for?
Studying the material. The lessons cover the topic areas CDPH lists publicly — patient rights, infection control, safe patient handling, body-systems care, emergency response, psychosocial and end-of-life care, documentation, ethics, cultural competence, abuse prevention and mandatory reporting, and more — with quizzes and explanations so you can check your understanding.
Why won't the Next button work yet?
Each slide holds for a minimum review time so your recorded hours reflect real study time. Wait for the timer to fill and Next enables. You can pause and come back — your accumulated time is kept.
I passed a lesson but got no certificate
A certificate needs your CNA certificate number. If you skipped that step during setup, add it in Profile and then reopen the lesson summary. If a certificate still does not appear, email us with the lesson name and we will sort it out.
I bought the course and it is still locked
Tap Restore Purchases on the paywall or in Profile, making sure you are signed in to the same Apple Account you purchased with. If it stays locked, email us with the Apple Account email used for the purchase — not your password, which we never need and never ask for.
I think a lesson is wrong
Please tell us. Clinical guidance changes and we would rather hear it from you than have someone learn something out of date. Email richard@yourfriendrich.com with the lesson and slide, what it says, and what you believe it should say. Corrections are reviewed against primary sources.
Delete my account
Email richard@yourfriendrich.com from the address on your account and we will delete it and your information. Deleting the app from your device removes the copy stored there. See the Privacy Policy for what we hold and why.
