ShiftStack Terms of Use

1. Educational use only

ShiftStack provides educational planning and tracking guidance. It is not financial, investment, tax, legal, employment, or clinical advice. The App does not create a professional-client relationship with a financial advisor, accountant, attorney, employer, or clinician.

You are responsible for your own financial decisions. Consider qualified professional guidance before making decisions involving taxes, debt, investments, employment, benefits, contracts, or major financial commitments.

2. User content

You are responsible for the goals, notes, targets, contribution amounts, due dates, and other content you enter into the App. Do not enter bank credentials, account numbers, patient information, employer-private information, or other sensitive details that are not needed for personal planning.

3. Local-first data

The current release stores goal and planning information on your device. Deleting the App removes its local app data from your device. See the ShiftStack Privacy Policy for details.

4. Subscriptions

Some features may require an auto-renewable subscription billed through your Apple Account:

• Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
• The subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account settings.
• Any unused portion of a free trial, if offered, may be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

5. Apple Watch

Apple Watch support is a companion experience for viewing compact progress and active steps. The iPhone app remains the primary place to create and manage goals.

6. No guaranteed outcomes

ShiftStack can help organize goals and next actions, but we do not guarantee savings, debt reduction, income, employment, tax, credit, investment, or other financial outcomes.

7. Acceptable use

Use the App only for lawful purposes. Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or misuse the App or any future service connected to it.

8. Intellectual property

The App, interface, text, graphics, templates, and related materials are owned by Vaughn NextGen Education LLC or used with permission. You may use them through the App for your personal planning, but you may not copy, resell, or create derivative products from them without permission.

9. No warranty

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will meet every need, be uninterrupted, be error-free, or produce a particular financial result.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vaughn NextGen Education LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or similar damages related to your use of the App or reliance on App content.

11. Changes and termination

We may modify the App or these Terms as the product evolves. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised Terms. We may suspend access for misuse or violations of these Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules.
