Information sent to us

The app does not collect or transmit your personal information, patient information, location, health information, advertising identifiers, or usage analytics to developer-operated services. It does not require an account or provide cloud sync. Reference and learning content is bundled with the app for offline access.

Information on your device

The app keeps preferences, favorites, recent searches, checklist and quiz progress, and any optional facility label, role, or policy-version setting locally on your device. These settings can be included in Apple device backups. The scratch-pad text uses separate storage, described below.

Scratch-pad notes in version 1.1

The scratch pad is for short personal reminders. Do not enter patient identifiers or other patient details. The app saves the text locally using Apple's complete file protection and marks the text file as excluded from Apple device backups. It does not send the text to us. The app also covers the scratch pad while the app is inactive.

The first-edit and last-edit timestamps are stored separately in local preferences. Those timestamps are not marked as excluded from backups and may be included in a device backup. The backup exclusion does not control screenshots, copied text, third-party keyboards, dictation services, or other actions and services outside the app.

The app schedules a note to expire at the later of the next 4 a.m. in your local time zone or 12 hours after its most recent edit. A seven-day limit measured from the first entry can make that scheduled expiry earlier. The displayed countdown shows the scheduled time.

Clearing happens when the app next becomes active or the Home screen next appears after that time. The app does not run a background deletion service, so an expired note may remain on the device until the next check. You can also use the scratch pad's reset control to clear its text.

Tracking and advertising

Phlebotomy Toolkit contains no ads, advertising SDKs, or developer-operated usage analytics. It does not track you across other companies' apps or websites.

Apple services

Apple processes App Store purchases and may process information through TestFlight, diagnostics, device backups, and operating-system services under Apple's own terms and privacy policy. Your Apple settings and service choices apply to those services. Read Apple's Privacy Policy.

Support and website use

If you choose to email support, we receive the message and contact details you send. Do not send patient information or workplace records. Visiting our website or using its forms is separate from using the offline app and is covered by the website privacy policy.

Children

The app is intended for phlebotomy education and professional reference. It is not directed to children.

Education and reference

The app does not diagnose or treat medical conditions. It does not replace facility policy, laboratory procedures, manufacturer instructions, supervisor direction, or professional judgment.

Policy changes

We will update this policy and the applicable App Store privacy disclosures before adding accounts, cloud sync, analytics, or other features that change this information handling. The date above identifies the latest policy revision.
