GLP 100 Privacy Policy

Information stored on the device

Daily check-ins, weight, meals and nutrition, medication history, symptoms, activity, goals, body measurements, and progress photos are stored in the app's local database. Progress photos are not added to the Photos library by default. The app does not automatically upload these records to us.

App data may also be present in the user's iCloud device backup if that backup is enabled.

Apple Health

Apple Health is optional. If the user approves access, GLP 100 can read weight, steps, active energy, exercise time, walking and running distance, dietary energy, protein, carbohydrates, fat, water, resting heart rate, heart rate variability, sleep, mindfulness, workouts, and state of mind on supported iOS versions. GLP 100 requests read-only access and does not write data to Health.

Approved signals are used on the device for journal and progress views. Health permissions can be changed in iOS Settings.

Coaching

Coaching in this release is generated on the device with Apple on-device models when available or a local rules-based fallback. Cloud AI Coaching and off-device photo analysis are unavailable in the Release build.

Food search and barcode lookup

When the user starts a food search or barcode scan, the submitted search text or barcode is sent through the GLP 100 lookup service to nutrition-data providers, including Open Food Facts and USDA FoodData Central. The app does not attach a GLP 100 account identifier, medication history, symptom history, progress photos, or other journal fields to that lookup.

Network services can receive standard request information such as an IP address under their own policies.

Exports and sharing

Exports occur only after the user starts them. Spreadsheet and summary exports contain the records described in the export screen. A full export can include tracker records and progress-photo files. Once the user shares or saves an export, the selected destination controls that copy.

Apple Reminders

The user can choose to create reminder copies in Apple Reminders. Reminder text may sync through the user's iCloud account and may be visible to other people on a shared reminders list. Those copies are controlled by Apple Reminders and can be removed there or from the app's reminder controls.

Payments and subscriptions

If a paid product is available, Apple handles the purchase through the App Store. Apple displays the current price, billing period, and any offer eligibility before confirmation. GLP 100 does not receive or store payment-card details. Apple's handling of the purchase is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

What we do not do

• We do not require an account, email address, or sign-in.
• We do not sell personal information.
• We do not use advertising SDKs or third-party analytics SDKs.
• We do not track users across other companies' apps or websites.
• We do not use Health data for advertising or data brokerage.

Deleting information

Deleting the app removes its local app data from the device. Apple may retain a copy in an existing iCloud device backup according to the user's backup settings and Apple's policies. Files the user exported, copies shared to other apps, and Apple Reminders entries exist outside GLP 100 and must be removed from those destinations separately.

Children

GLP 100 is intended for adults managing their own health records. It is not directed to children under 13.

Medical disclaimer

GLP 100 records information and provides general educational support. It does not diagnose, treat, prescribe, choose an injection site, or recommend a dose or medication schedule. Users should follow the official instructions for their medication and the guidance of their prescribing clinician. For urgent symptoms or a suspected emergency, use local emergency services.

Privacy questions and rights

Privacy questions can be sent to richard@yourfriendrich.com. Do not include personal health details in email. Depending on where the user lives, applicable privacy law may provide additional rights.

Changes to this policy

This policy will be updated before a release adds a new off-device processing path or materially changes how information is handled.
